| This study program is intended for those working in the healthcare environment, but, whilst it focuses on
healthcare, and uses health-related illustrations and examples to illustrate
issues, the core and principles of the program are just as relevant to any
other application area where quality management and continuous quality
improvement are a significant focus. The
concepts can readily be transferred from this program to any other domain. The basic issues covered in
this online program are those that are relevant to everyone in the healthcare
system all the way from clerical, secretarial, management and administrative
staff, to technical, clinical and research staff. Of course each of these groups have their own
specific roles and functions in the overall information environment of the
healthcare system, but once you have understood the basics, these specialty
aspects become quite easy to understand.
